Rehab : Prescribing & Dispensing
The prescribing of controlled drugs is fully supported in SystmOne Rehab, as are GP and nurse prescribing. The central drugs database is managed and kept up-to-date, and all of the standard support features of prescribing are available, e.g. drug-doubling, sensitivities, contraindications and drug information.
Consultation templates allow you to enter pre-set event details that match the situation, saving time at the computer so you can concentrate on the patient.
Instalment dispensing is sophisticated, yet easy to use. FP10 MDA scripts may be printed automatically. Public Holidays and Sundays are supported with double/triple issuing which is customisable on a 'default' or patient-by-patient basis. It's also easy to set supervised doses and drug schedules.
Drug rehabilitation units find patient 'pop-up' reminders particularly useful for recording personality traits. Protocols and Patient Status Markers help manage care by providing visual tools to aid the clinician.
