From January 8th 2007, TPP will be offering SystmOne as an integrated primary care solution to the NHS Connecting for Health North West and West Midlands Cluster with Local Service Provider (LSP) Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC). Further discussion will take place between CSC, TPP and NHS Northwest and NHS West Midlands Strategic Health Authorities over the next two months about the possible demand for TPP provided systems. PCTs should contact their SHA in the first instance regarding this statement.
TPP will also continue to deploy SystmOne as an LSP solution to healthcare units in the Eastern and North Eastern Clusters as part of the NHS Connecting for Health National Programme for IT (NPfIT).
In addition, under the new agreement between TPP, CSC and CFH, TPP will be able to deploy all of SystmOne's modules to all three of CSC's NHS Clusters as part of NPfIT. SystmOne's modules cover GP, Child Health, Community, Prison health care units, Palliative care, Emergency centres, Homeless units, Drug rehabilitation units, and Primary Care Trust reporting sites.
Josh O'Neill, TPP Director, says, "It is a tremendous opportunity for TPP to have the ability to deploy SystmOne to a third cluster and to have the additional modules supported by CfH. We've had great success in the North East and Eastern Clusters and hope to replicate that in the North West and West Midlands. With a larger SystmOne footprint, more patients will benefit from shared care and the NHS vision of a fully integrated health service will be closer to becoming a reality. We are looking forward to working with CSC and the NHS to continue the successful rollout of SystmOne."
NHS Connecting for Health announced on September 28th 2006 that Accenture would transfer responsibility for delivery of its obligations within the National Programme for IT to CSC. Since then, TPP and CSC have been working together to ensure that both new and existing customers continue to be fully supported in their use of SystmOne.
TPP and CSC are committed to the same strategy and will work together to continue the successful roll-out of the integrated clinical system, SystmOne, maintaining high levels of service and support, and an unwavering dedication to the National Programme for IT.
TPP is looking forward to continuing the roll-out of SystmOne with CSC, enabling more primary care staff to enjoy integrated record sharing, and more patients to benefit from the improved care this brings.
