The five millionth patient record to be registered on SystmOne came almost
seven years to the day since the very first SystmOne patient was recorded.
Since then, the number of organisations and patient records has steadily
increased.
2006 has been a bumper year for all involved with SystmOne, with the number of
patient records stored on the system doubling since January.
TPP has worked closely with the Local Service Provider - Accenture, Connecting
for Health and SystmOne users to deliver successful data migrations. The five
millionth patient to be recorded on SystmOne is a real milestone and marks the
hard work and great progress made by all the organisations involved.
The rapid growth of SystmOne is largely due to TPP's involvement in NHS Connecting
for Health's National Programme for IT. TPP is working with the Local Service
Provider to provide an integrated primary care solution, SystmOne GP, to GPs
in the North East and Eastern clusters. TPP also supplies software for the LSP’s
Child Health, Community and Prison systems solution.
With more records stored on SystmOne, more health care professionals and their
patients can benefit from integrated care.
With further SystmOne deployments already in the pipeline, plus enhancements
to existing modules and additional modules planned for new points of care, TPP
is looking to the future and to the next five million patients.
