Living In Leeds
TPP's offices are based in Horsforth - an affluent suburb
of Leeds, just 17 minutes from the city centre by train.
Horsforth is well served by a train station (with direct trains to Leeds,
Harrogate and York), as well as bus services to the city centre and surrounding
areas.
Horsforth boasts a host of cafes, restaurants and bars, as well as amenities
such as supermarkets, library, doctors and dentists, banks and post offices
- all useful should you choose to live in the area.
Leeds itself is the UK's fastest-growing city with the second largest employment
total outside London. As a result, development is evident everywhere, whether
it's the flashy city centre apartment blocks that are popping up across the
landscape, designer shops in the Victoria Quarter, or the never-ending list
of new restaurants, bars and clubs.
If city life isn't up your street, Leeds is perfectly situated as a base
from which you can access the Yorkshire Dales, the Peak District and Bronte
country. There are 4,000 hectares of parks and green spaces in Leeds, which
means you're never far away from somewhere you can stroll, relax or have
a picnic.
What's more, Leeds has one of the driest summer climates of major British
cities - great for taking advantage of all those green spaces!
