The Coleridge Medical Centre has become the first practice in Devon PCT
to sign up for SystmOne GP. Devon PCT will be the fourth PCT in the Southern
region to implement SystmOne GP.
SystmOne has been deployed extensively in the North East and East of England
to GP, Child Health, Community and Prison services ? over 500 practices have
moved to this solution in the past two years alone. As such, SystmOne is
a proven clinical system, widely used by leading GPs. It has recently become
available to practices in the North West and West Midlands, and under GPSoC,
it will be available to all practices in the Southern and London regions
too.
Assistant Practice Manager, Sue Stokes, says, "The practice was planning
to change systems, and one of our GPs had heard about SystmOne. She looked
up the TPP website, and it went from there. We had demonstrations from four
suppliers, and SystmOne was the most popular choice among the partners and
senior management."
"We're very pleased that we have had this interest from out-of-cluster," says
Customer Relationship Manager, Ashley Brook. "It means that SystmOne's reputation
is being spread by word-of-mouth, which is an incredibly powerful thing.
We're looking forward to getting Coleridge Medical Centre live and helping
them to improve patient care through the use of SystmOne."
TPP hopes to continue the deployment of SystmOne to more practices in Devon
PCT, and indeed across the Southern and London clusters as part of GPSoC,
enabling more practices and patients to benefit from a proven centralised
system that can follow patients across both geographical boundaries and care
settings, improving the quality of their care.
