GP : Reception

You won’t fully appreciate our appointments module until the morning after a bank holiday weekend! SystmOne GP will split, cancel, re-book, DNA and instantly refresh your appointments around the practice and multiple branch sites, whilst you deal with the patients.

Rota administration is a breath of fresh air: even the most convoluted schedules can be set up with ease. Telephone appointments, slots timed to the half minute, practice meetings, embargoes and blocks and even coffee breaks can be accommodated.

With Remote Booking, you can set up clinics that SystmOne users at other sites can book into, or book your patients into clinics at other SystmOne sites. The system refreshes in real time, so double-booking is impossible.

Patients can book their own appointments using Internet booking. They can also manage their repeat prescriptions and new patients can even register themselves through the Internet!

You can use your existing Jayex or Polycomp board with SystmOne to call patients to their appointments and broadcast practice information. Or you can use SystmOne’s integrated Patient Call system. To overcome issues of patient confidentiality, Patient Call assigns each patient a coloured and numbered token.

If you set up a PC monitor or a touch screen in your reception area, you can also benefit from SystmOne’s inbuilt Patient Self-Arrivals. Patient Self-Arrivals means patients can check themselves in and be directed to the appropriate waiting area without needing to queue at reception.

You can reduce DNAs, saving time and money, by sending appointment reminders as SMS text messages straight from SystmOne to patients’ mobile phones.
